My doctor was incredibly attentive. He reviewed all my history and gave a full unrushed exam. He even helped me talk out another unrelated issue. I considered asking if he could be my primary. The front desk was patient and kind. And the follow up staff was unbelievable. They called me and explained all my test results. I really felt seen and cared for. I will be returning for sure!
I’ve been here before and received adequate care, the logistical situation today was appalling. I scheduled an 8:30 AM appointment. There was nothing on the website to indicate that they were running very late. I arrived at 8:20 for the appointment. They said that they were down one staff person and would be running late. I understood that it would be 10 or 15 minutes late. At 9:05 I had to leave to go to work. They called me after I left and explained that the problem was with the corporate scheduling system. there is a real problem if the people on site are blaming corporate instead of taking responsibility for not communicating clearly. I now need to suffer with a rash on my neck all day because they couldn’t communicate clearly enough to tell me to go to a different urgent care. I hope that the corporate office gives them better visibility into scheduling and delays and that they learn better communication so that patients can get the care that they deserve.
The doctor was excellent, but I was seriously unhappy that there was no Xray tech available, despite it being featured on the website. Made my visit almost unnecessary. Doctor apologized for absent Xray.
Everyone was nice, most especially the Nurse Practitioner, who spent time with me to figure out and understand my issues. Only issue was the wait time to see her; but the care was so good, that I think everyone received that special attention.
Came in due to a minor injury I sustained while at work, dirty sharp metal object in my foot. While I understand their explanation surrounding injuries at work and their inability to see me without a certain Workman’s Comp form, I don’t understand the abrupt nature of it all. I clarified I did not want to seek Workman’s Comp and just wanted a medical opinion on my foot. It was explained that regardless of that desire, a work place injury has a specific set of policies. That made enough sense but once that was done, no one asked about my symptoms, how much pain I was in, how much swelling there was, if there was discoloration, offered any symptoms to keep an eye out for, offered any over the counter or at home remedies to possible apply: it seemed like their only focus was making sure it was explicitly clear that they could not see me. I understand for liability purposes that Urgent Cares have their own rules but if I say that after 24 hours I still have swelling from a dirty piece of metal that went into my foot, even if you can’t see me, I would expect you would offer some kind of general medical guidance to ensure that the person can ease their pain or discomfort as they attempt to locate care. I feel like there could have been more care and less bureaucracy in this interaction.
Highly highly highly recommend this location! The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They are efficient and with the save your spot option you are seen right at your time, they listen to your concerns and genuinely want to help you. 12 out of 10 for sure!
I have been to this location a few times and had a decent experience. The doctors Ive seen have been kind and professional. However, today was the second time I had a really bad experience so I will no longer be using this place. The woman who checked me in basically threw her arms up in air and said theyre always changing things on us. I just go with the flow. The flow, in this case, was that the sign-in app wouldnt allow me past a certain screen (the screen said to talk to a person in the office who would be happy to help me) but she insisted that there was nothing she could do... it was just an unsolvable problem. I wasnt fully signed in and she couldnt sign me in. Sorry. She muttered I hate this place and walked into the back leaving the front desk empty. Ive come before and know this individual is a trained medical professional (a nurse maybe?) and not a receptionist, so Im assuming they are understaffed. One time, I was willing to give them a pass. But Im done here. This is not what you need when you feel like garbage and need a doctor.
6 may 24 10:30 a.m.Westmed urgent care appointment.Horrible urgent care, nurse practioner prescribed scripts that had negative interaction with my daily meds. She realized after I left and didnt call me. I had to find out by my own efforts. Not giving her a next time to possibly harm me.,thats for sure.Petite secretary and nurse practioner had a conversation via phone with me standing there after I asked for a Doctors note. Smirk sarcasm and giggle told me all I need to know about the compassion at urgent care, west med this day. Theres more but I will leave it at this, at this time. Not ever going there again however I will continue to see the wonderful Doctors who have a practice with westmed.Blessings to all.
Do not come here for flu shots. I am truly sorry to write this review as I don’t want the staff to be negatively impacted but I must warn others. I had come in for a flu shot last year with no hassle. The nurses and doctors were wonderful and their bedside manner was top notch, every visit I had. What alarmed me was that two months later, I open a letter and discovered that I owe $570 which was peculiar because I only ever went for covid tests and a flu shot during the lockdown. It stated that the flu shot I had received was covered by insurance, but my visitation fee, which was over $500, was not. I was told that my covid test fees were not accounted for since they were covered by the government. I called my insurance to check this and they confirmed the rate. I checked and the fee for those WITHOUT insurance was less than $200. As college student working part-time, this is not a cheap bill. Again, the staff that were there were very kind and efficient at their job. It is advertised that they do regular seasonal flu shots but if you don’t have the best insurance, you might want to go to a CVS or a Walgreens instead.
My 93 yr old mother from MA went in with a cut that was infected. They could not verify her insurance (Blue Cross) so they said she has to pay full or go to the ER. This is health care 101. We went to the ER. Incompetent.
Everyone who works there was considerate and professional. each made me feel comfortable and confident in the care they provided
If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is run like a complete joke. The first time that I came into the facility I had neck pain and was told that it’s possible I may have meningitis. The staff there were unable to help me at all, despite the fact that I had no other symptoms, and sent me to the emergency room to investigate. After spending the whole day in the ER, it was confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me, and I was told that there is no way that I could have meningitis because I lived in a dorm during my college years which meant that I would’ve been vaccinated for it. I left the ER with a $700 bill. I visited again today to diagnose a potential ear infection. The appointment was made the night before online. When I walked in the staff Member immediately told me that there would be a 30 minute wait before my appointment. No real reasoning at all and I did see plenty of staff members floating around not treating patients. Clearly this location makes appointments without assigning staff just to make a few extra dollars. I asked the staff member if I would be charged for the appointment should I be unable to make it because I did not have 30 minutes available to sit in the waiting room. She told me no. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked her if they would be taking me soon. She said no I would still have to wait. I confirmed with her again to make sure that I will not be charged for the appointment and she very rudely responded saying “I told you already you will not be charged. Didn’t you remember I told you already?!” I cannot believe how incredibly rude she was. This office may look nice on the inside, but it is run like a terrible terrible operation. Do not visit this urgent care, go to the New Ro West Med location instead.
Online booking is available. Short wait time. Professional staff and amazingly empathetic staff. What health care should feel like.
DEBT COLLECTION WITH NO DOCTOR! STAY AWAY!I went to these shysters for a cyst (bug bite) and there was no doctor and they told me to drive myself to White Plains ER (they didnt ask if I was medicated, nor did they take vitals). Now I randomly get a debt collection notice when I got no bill and I never got treatment. I have the evidence. Why else is the debt after 6 months $25? I can only assume theyre making up for all the C0vid they spread. They are in the New Rochelle hotspot.
I recently had a small accident that resulted in an injury that appeared to be inflamed, and I decided to visit Urgent Care Quaker Ridge to have it assessed, specifically to determine if it required stitches. The staff promptly examined my injury, which was thankfully minor, and decided to clean it and apply a glue band below the wound I only stayed for 10 minutes. However, my satisfaction quickly turned into frustration when, after three months, I received a bill for a whopping $585. To my disappointment, my insurance provider informed me that they would only cover $86 of the total bill. This unexpected and substantial charge left me bewildered, especially since I had not been informed of the significant cost associated with a simple glue band application. What particularly bothered me about this situation is the lack of communication from Urgent Care Quaker Ridge with my insurance provider before billing me. Had they done so, I could have been better informed about the potential costs and could have made a more informed decision about the procedure. Instead, I find myself facing an exorbitant bill that, in my opinion, does not align with the simplicity of the treatment I received.I understand that medical procedures come with associated costs, but I believe that the transparency in communicating these costs to patients is essential. I am more than willing to pay a fair and reasonable amount for the services rendered, but I believe that the $585 bill I received is excessive, given the nature of the procedure.
They have the worst customer service ever! Please do not travel here if you are ill. They also only except appointments and they do NOt have an X-ray machine at all. The worst urgent care ! Beware!
Clean, staff is polite, pretty fast visit. The down side is when u schedule an appointment the app does not take the picture of the insurance but supposed to. On another hand u do not need to do it. U can close the app after u spot us confirm.
The service I received at urgent care was above and beyond the whole staff was very helpful in getting my health concerns tended to thank you
Professional and courteous staff! It helps to make an appointment!.
I had a very positive experience here. There was no wait time and all staff members were very professional and thorough. The doctor, nurses and receptionist were all kind, respectful and attentive. All of my concerns were addressed and questions answered.
The healthcare team here are awesome. Gave excellent advice, very professional and caring.
It was hands down the best walk-in appointment I have ever had. The Doctor patiently listened and was thorough. Check in for my same day visit was efficient and easy.
Avoid! I will never return! I made an appointment, arrived 15 minutes early, yet waited in an empty waiting room for over an hour. There was one other room that was being used, and one very slow PA. To make matters worse, I am pregnant with a severe cough. I wasn’t tested for flu, COVID - NOTHING. After all that waiting, she took my vitals and told me to treat with mucinex. Turns out I lost my taste and smell later that day and SURPRISE I have COVID! Unknowingly I exposed my family and toddler thinking it was “just an inconvenient/uncomfortable cough”.
There was no wait . Professional, polite staff. Was diagnosed within 10 minutes.
If I could negative stars I would. I walked in at 8:45 and was told it was a one hour wait. At 9:45 I looked at the board and saw there were still 6 people ahead of me. I asked at the desk was told my new time was 11:30.They clearly were not going to tell me. I asked if I could leave and come back and was told yes and they would text if they could see me earlier. I cam back at 11:15 and was immediately put in a room and the tech took all my vitals and asked about the reason I was there. He then said the PA would be in “shortly.” 45 minutes later the PA came in. She was friendly and helpful but the waiting was unacceptable.
Professional, clean, caring and smart. Can’t ask for anything better.
Dr.McNeal’s professionalism and making sure I understood what I was going through makes me wish he was my personal doctor. And their nurse/receptionist was kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend Northwell Health Urgent Care.
The staff is friendly and professional. The nurse practioner, Sabine, was kind and sensitive to my daughter, the diagnosis was spot on!
Kate Spencer the PA made me feel very comfortable when I wasnt feeling well. Her bedside manner and patient care is impeccable.ALL of the staff is personable and friendly. They all made my experience quick, easy, and truly made me feel better.I am a Northwell employee and I was really happy to see that this location follows the same morals and values that all Northwell staff, urgent care or hospital, have been awarded for.
Everyone was very polite and gave me medicine that seems to be helping.
The specialist who understood my injury after careful examination was thorough, knowledgeable, kind, reducing my anxiety immediately. She wrapped up my sprain with excellent post instructions.
My experience was good at Northwell. The staff was courteous.
I was diagnosed quickly after a negative COVID test.
Great Northwell urgent care location! I came here for a wound from a kitchen knife and they saw me right away. Clean facility and friendly staff, the PA I had was gentle and helpful. I was in and out, they took me without an appointment. Thank you!
Staff was unfriendly. I NEVER complain because life happens and I understand that, however, the front desk acted like we annoyed her when we walked in. She was on the phone with a friend because she said I cant talk right now this woman is in front of me”. Not the first time either. I wont be coming back. It’s like everyone that works at this location, hates their job and it shows in how they treat the patients walking in.
Best place to go when you need immediate care in the neighborhood. Everyone is very compassionate and responsive.
Professional friendly and knowledgeable staff who greeted us with care and smiles in spite of the heavy demands of all the sick people they come in contact with. I walked out of two other facilities because they were so awful at the front desk and we were treated poorly. I went to your facility because I take Pilates right next door. I noticed it one day. Your facility will be the one my husband and I go to even though its a little bit further from our home.
Pleasant waiting area, long wait but the doctor was friendly and thorough.
Everyone was very accommodating. I was seen quickly and out of there fast. I was very impressed to get a follow up call the next day. I also received a call from a nurse the day I was seen to ask me if I needed help finding an orthopedic doctor. She offered to make the appointment for me! I was thoroughly impressed by everyone there! I would highly recommend that facility! Thank you Northwell for taking such good care of me!
If I could give this zero stars I would. It’s saddens me writing this post because I am a Northwell health employee myself. I walk in an hour and a half before closing and they tell me they are not taking any more appointments because they’re booked until 630pm (meanwhile they close at 5pm). I begged due to my symptoms and needing medication, they ended up seeing me. I was super appreciative and thankful. Ironically, no other patient came in after me. So that last hour and a half was completely empty patient-less. They said they would send my medication to the CVS pharmacy no problem. Again, I was super appreciative and thankful to the staff for taking me. I am waiting at CVS and they never put my prescription in. I was waiting for about an hour and I even called their office and it was after hours so they weren’t taking phone calls. I called the pharmacy right before closing to find out if my prescription was filled, but it turns out the order was never placed. Very upsetting.
A Very Poor Experience!1st - Neither of the two woman cared enough to come to the counter to assist me. Their response was to sit in the parking lot to complete the sign in process. Then I was told they couldnt help AND they refused to provide any more information.2nd - I believe that this is a EMTALA violation - You can not turn someone away that needs medical attention.3rd - They called back about an hour later and I was unable to answer - you CAN NOT call them back and get a real person to assist.**Id give them a negative star rating but this app wont allow it!
I received prompt attention to my health issue. My caregiver seemed to truly care about my health issue. My caregiver asked a series of questions to help pinpoint my muscle spasm problem.Soon after leaving the facility I received a text from my pharmacist that my prescriptions were received. All this on a Sunday!Thank you Northwell Go-Health Urgent Care.
I would like to give 5 stars to Emanuel the Medical Assistant at the go health urgent care at Quaker Ridge rd in New Rochelle! He was super friendly and i told him that he is the best at swapping your nose. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!
If Google had the option for negative stars- this location would receive all stars! I’m am embarrassed and ashamed as a medical student myself to say that my child was in the care of a medical professional who did not care! It is sad that I feel as a parent that I need to go to war with a medical center who is suppose to have the best interest of their patients but ultimately was left with no answers and told I don’t know! I don’t know should never be heard or said from a doctor! As a parent who was worried about her daughters fractured wrist medical providers are always suppose to find the answers! If this is not the purpose of Northwell health center then things should be reevaluated. I came to this location to unfortunately be discriminated as a minority when asked a simple question about my daughters care. I was forced out of my way to get the quickest solution, My appointment was at 2:30 but was ultimately treated like a walk in. I was told the x ray tech could not come to the new Rochelle Center because it would take him longer to get to the location due to traffic when I arrived an hour prior to my appointment. After being seen by one of your nurses/doctor, I was told that it was up to me if i wanted to stay and wait for the tech to arrive. Looking at the clock it was now almost 3pm, she said the tech could be here in an hour due to traffic. I simply asked if I drove there will the Dobbs ferry location accommodate us as a walk in or honor our appointment. The lady told me she doesn’t know, because he has other patients which is understandable but our appointment was at 2:30 and it’s now almost 3 and we are told that we have to wait a possible Extra hour to be seen. I asked if she can call the location to let him know we are on the way, she said no she can’t. Which was very confusing because she was able to tell me how long I had to wait for him to get to the new roch location but She could not let him know that we were on the way so he would expect us. I was highly disappointed, the receptionist then chimed in and said yes we will call him and let him know. I’m so grateful for the receptionist after a 4 hour ordeal it was then learned that my daughter had a fractured wrist. Ultimately, I wish we never came to this location for care! The working provider hates to care for her patients and does not love her job! As a patient we trust you as a providers to be treated less then! When medical insurance is expensive and we should be receiving the care we need!!!
I’ve come here more five times the past year because apparently my body hates me. Everyone is very knowledgeable and nice. The place is extremely clean and Dr. Nabegh is wonderful.Update: this is 100% my go-to place. I actually prefer them over my GP, whether illness or injury. No matter who is on staff everyone is so friendly and they truly care. Even when they were unable to provide me with a definite answer for my illness because they simply didn’t have the resources an ER would have, the doc (wish I remembered her name) took the time to really talk it over and go over my symptoms and what to do. The ER I went to actually did a less thorough exam than urgent care. Wait times are never bad, even when the wait said 1hr 30, it was 10minutes.I’m so grateful for these doctors!
Great experience. Got an appointment on the day I called, was seen quickly, and my ailment (clogged ear) was cured by the time I walked out.
If I could give zero stars I would. Staff is extremely rude especially one man in particular. Unfortunately I did not catch his name (but wish I did so I could put in a formal complaint). Rude, dirty, and disorganized. You guys need to focus on how you treat your patients, not just medically, but as HUMAN BEINGS. A little respect goes a long way and I have seen NO respect inside this urgent care center. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this place at all costs.
My experience here was nothing short of amazing! They had me in and out in no time all while making me feel comfortable and welcomed the entire duration of my stay. Ive never been more impressed with an establishment than I was with this one, thank you to the staff for making my visit one to remember. The staff is highly professional and treats you with the up most respect. All in all I suggest anyone to give you guys a try, they will not be disappointed! Not to mention the place is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you again for an awesome visit.
Excellent service from the time you walk in. The staff is super sweet and go above and beyond to treat you with the highest respect. Although I didnt have an appointment my wait time was very short. The doctor was in no rush to get me in and out, he actually cared and spent time going over my concerns and had no desire to leave until I was comfortable enough. The best urgent care around!
Brought my mom in for flu symptoms .. throwing up … faint .. fever .. and pain.. She’s a retired registered nurse and fully covered medically. We we told that she would be given preliminary care and if anything major was needed, they would call an ambulance; I obliged. Another staff person came out and said before seeing my mom that they were calling an ambulance and not going to see her. The front desk clerk tried to reexplain what her coworker just negated. There was no one in the waiting room and all staff laughed and typed on the computer as all of this transpired. There was a verbal exchange between myself and rude staff member … The Dr. on duty was Dr. Spence and Dr. Gleeson … I began to record and the main rude worker retreated to the back and another worked threatened to call the police on me because I began to record and have extensive footage which proves everything g being said. My mom is a Jamaican retired RN who probably help deliver some of those who rejected her … I’m going to report everyone on duty that day.
My daughter went in with flu-like symptoms (she tested negative for COVID). She had to keep asking for a flu test. For some reason they resisted but finally relented. She tested positive for influenza (A). They doctor said a prescription would be sent to the pharmacy. Checked at the pharmacy later that day. No prescription received. Checked this morning (Sunday). Prescription never received. So my wife went back to Urgent Care. They resisted (blaming HIPAA) talking to her about it. Finally they said they would TEXT the doctor to confirm. Here we are at the end of Day 2 and no prescription sent to the pharmacy. Meanwhile our daughter is suffering. Next time well try CityMD. Cant have worse results!
I found out that my insurance covers urgent care. I decided to try it out, because no one likes the ER. I set the appointment online and when I walked in, there was a kiosk to check-in. Simple, very easy to do. No one was there, I got lucky. I gave the man my insurance card, waited maybe 10 minutes then they took me to the exam room. I met with the Dr, and this was all done in maybe an hour if that. I dont even get seen that fast from my primary Dr. I will definitely use this office again. I received excellent service, and was seen in a reasonable time frame.
Have you ever wished you had a doctor or urgent care that was as caring as your own doctor office? This is the place to be at. NP Andolino and her entire staff are excellent. They listen to your concerns and always provide excellent care. She is top notch and honestly I would go to her for anything, be it adult or pediatric. Best urgent care I have ever visited. We have 5 children and this is our place to be when we can’t be at our doctor office. If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Overall experience was excellent!! Medical provider, Dr. Mangas was professional and explained my medical condition, in a way that I was able to understand. My medical problem was explained to me, and medication given. A follow-up call , to find out how I was doing, was done. Would recommend urgent care at this clinic to family and friends. I was taken care of immediately, there was no waiting. Support staff were professional.
The place was clean and it was a good location. The staff was polite, efficient and they cared. I received a text, an email and a phone call after my visit asking how I was, that was something I have never experienced from an urgent care. I was very impressed and Id like to thank the nurse and the PA.
The wait was not as long as I had feared. (I was a walk-in.) Once I was called in I was treated in a timely, civil and competent manner.
No wait time, the staff was very pleasant, the dr actually listened and communicated well,I like the online check in.. makes everything smooth and quick
Update: they are sticking to their 400 dollar charge, unless you were dying I would never ever go here. What a bad business and companyWow. Somehow I got charged 400 for a 30 minute visit. Not really sure how that is possible and I will be contacting them tomorrow. I do want to point out that the nurse was openly talking about other patients she was dealing with earlier in the day. Big red flag would never go again. Wonder what they were saying about me.
Was taken in immediately. The facility was extremely clean and neat. The physician listened to me and explained himself every step of the way. The staff was wonderful...efficient, nice, polite, personable, and competent. As this was my first time going to an urgent care, I Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I had a COVID test on Friday that was supposed to be done for today Monday so I could have surgery. I called yesterday a number of times and was told that it would be done for last night. They even called to get the Fax number that the report was supposed to go to. As it did not show up, I called again this morning and spoke to the secretary again who finally spoke to the lab (which should have happened yesterday) to be told that they did not expedite as promised. Now I have to rush to the hospital to get tested there or loose my surgery appointment. Terribly run service. Would never go there again!
First, I would like to state the employees at Urgent Care New Rochelle are Professional & Knowledgeable. I first met with Cindy then Heather. Both were professional and patience. The last staff I met was Doyna (Nurse Practitioner). Ms Doyna was professional and Knowledgeable, she took her time and listened to my wants and needs. She guided me and I am happy I visited This location. I would highly recommend Urgent Care.
Outstanding. Engaging personable service and staff. Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. .Dr Magna was engaging, and knowledgeable fowards and backwards in regard to the symptoms leading to my visit. The online patient portal that allowed appointment set up was extremely easy and patient paperwork could easily be completed prior to arrival. The facility was extremely clean and spotless. Masks are available the front desk for precaution to not infect other patients and attention to prevention and containment was paramount. . I highly recommend the office to anyone.
It saddens me that I have to write this. This has been my go to urgent care when I can’t get an appt at my doctor. I understand they may be swamped with testing but I wasn’t feeling well and just wanted to see a doctor and possibly get tested for flu (I took a covid test elsewhere and it was negative) Went in, signed up, put all my info in. They said it would be a 3-5 hr wait. I waited until 4 (it was 5 hrs by then) and NOTHING. Called them and no one answers the phone. It’s the next day and still NOTHING. Not good.
My visit to Northwell Urgent Care in New Rochelle was excellent! Treatment was fast and spot on! It was the quickest doctors visit I ever had! Happy to report Im on the mend and feeling much much better! Thank you Dr. Kramer & Garcia!!! :)
I loved the women their they are amazing sweet and kind I do feel like the male medical assistant isnt empathetic for women coming In with a situation he asked me a question that had nothing to do with the progress note as well asking if my parents were sick. But other than that the facility was amazing and clean and the ob/gyn tools are very high tech and up to date also quick speedy service.
This is by far the worst medical care I have ever seen distributed. Don’t come here if you’re in any sort of pain or distress. Not only does the website provide inaccurate information about services provided, but the staff are incompetent and rude. You will get denied testing with no explanation, denied explanation without any care, and leave feeling worse than you came in. This isn’t a doctors office, this is a corporate office dedicated to receiving payment with zero intention of providing service.
I went there this evening at 7 pm as I am not feeling well. I did not have an appt so I was a walk in and the website says walk ins only. The lady at the counter tells me she has nothing available but does have one appt tomorrow. i told her I was not feeling well as my throat was bothering me and I just felt unwell. When i told her i did not want to wait until tomorrow so I would go to westmed her response was ok. I am ill, want to b seen, there is no one in the waiting room and u turn me away. Dont get this place and this is not the first time my experince was such. Westmed is a much better facility but they are down the street from my home.
I personally think the entire staff excluding the Doctors are rude and very inconsiderate of the patients feelings. First staff isn’t checking demographics correctly so if you have old information they don’t update so when you need results it could be difficult to get in contact with a person and they don’t answer phones at all. I have been here numerous of times I think the staff forgets your are there for help need and to feel better they are not so friendly and I feel like I’m bothering them the money I walked in. They are always in a rush to move you along the Doctors are ok but honestly the staff isn’t personally interested just felt rude and no understanding but they do want you to slow them down or forget about getting covid testing if you don’t have appointment they send you away they don’t guarantee you getting tested even if you have all of the symptoms
Excellent care and very pleasant staff.
Very disappointing time mgmt. I was a walk in for a covid test arrived and checked in. Asked approx how long is the wait so I could leave and come back. They said not to leave stay in my car and they would text me. I walked in to check after 1 hour, than 2 hours, than 3 and 4. At no time could anyone say how much longer it would be. If I didn’t need for work I would have left. Completely unprofessional.
Nothing against this location or the service. I have a big issue with Northwell billing from my visit to this location. I have a high deductible insurance and was left with $500 bill for 2 visits. On their website they list a cost of $125 for visits for people who don’t have insurance. So I pay double that because I have high deductible insurance ? Makes no sense. They billed close to $1200 to my insurance for 2 visits. Last time I go to any Northwell location.
Thank you for helping me!!!!!The medical staff and doctor at Northwell health acted quickly and attended to me immediately. Everyone was professional, calm and friendly. Once the ambulance came, I was brought to the hospital and was diagnosed with what the doc at Northwell Health suspected I had. I needed an overnight stay in hospital, a Catscan & MRI to rule out other possibilities, but thankfully I am better today. Thank you for everything!
I would like to thank the Providers & staff of Urgent Care for their genuine care & support concerning my health. I also really appreciate how they followed up with me in everything, including making sure I found a primary care provider & other necessary care providers. They really helped me out a lot because for a long time I was not able to find a primary care provider & receive care regarding my current health issues due to most places not accepting my insurance & Urgent Care took me in & ran test like no other provider has before to find out whats going on, then helped me to find providers that would accept my insurance. I hope my new primary care provider treats me with the same care & service as Urgent Care did.
The most poorly managed and unprofessional medical facility in the area, without a doubt. During my visit in December to get a COVID-19 test, I walked in and was asked personal questions in front of someone that should not have known my information. On top of that, the employees were talking amongst themselves, one EXCLAIMING to the other that they’re positive for herpes, with my family in the waiting area. With a “sorry you heard that” as a response. On top of THAT, the same person that was about to attend me and give me my test was at her computer within 6ft radius of 3 people with her mask down, face exposed. To make my experience the worst one possible on top of that, my insurance was not even billed for my visit when I explicitly asked what my insurance would cover before proceeding. This location needs to be restructured or closed. If you can’t operate to the standard expected for a place delivering medical care or conduct yourself to the standards of ANY business, you should not be conducting business. There is no way that your location can be in an area as such with premium competition, operating under a name that normally delivers (think: Long Island locations) but lack the consistency throughout. Not recommending this location to any of my friends as they would be aghast by this place.
I thought Steve, Twyla, and Casey were amazing. Customer service was wonderful. And my doctor was magnificent. From the first visit to the last visit I had great time. Thank you very much. As I mention Steve, Twyla, and Casey are spectacular professionals.
I walked in checked in and in was seen right away. And it was very professional and personal. The care of the doctor was warm and friendly service. I will be going back and I will tell all my friends and family.I went back to again because I was not feeling well again . I signed in and I was seen and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable and friendly.
Staff was prompt, courteous & professional. Facility was clean and inviting. Physician was clear in her diagnosis and care instructions, answered all of my questions and proactively provided a note for my brother to return to ARC program. I could not have asked for a better experience.
Excellent place to go if you have or dont have an appointment. Ive never had to wait long. The staff is topnotch and professional Thank you for all your help. By the way, I am feeling soooo much better! Almost perfect! And at my age of 70, thats saying someyhing!!!
Absolutely wonderful! I cant say enough about how great this place is! My Husband and Daughter have been treated there quite a few times. I have always been impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness. This week I was seen as a patient and now even more impressed. Thank you all so much
Excellent place to go if you have any problems. Very clean! Very nice and knowledgeable doctor, nice nurse( a guy), except a lady nurse, who I asked if I can have an antibodies test done and she said “no”,I need another appointment, but when asked a doctor he said “of course we can do it today”.
For the last year, these guys have sent me hundreds of dollars in bills because someone forgot to write down my insurance after I went for just 2 COVID tests. Since then I have called and given them my insurance information, and they charge me thru my insurance. Instead of keeping a record of my insurance after my calls, they keep sending me bills!I took these COVID tests a year ago and I am still getting bills, still have to make calls, and still have to stress about whether or not I am on the hook for hundreds of dollars.Never ever using these guys
2 major issues with Northwell Health and this location in particular. Completely opaque when getting from the location, and the corporate company has not responded to any inquiries.1. Scheduled a flu shot here. Confirmed when I checked in there was no co-pay. A few days after I left I received a bill for $25.2.my wife scheduled a flu shot there in between when I went and found out I was billed. We are both on the same insurance. They charged her $25 when she checked in. A few weeks later they sent her a bill for $120 claiming her scheduled flu shot was an emergency visit. Northwell has not responded to any of my wife’s messages or phone calls.
Honestly what a nice staff over there. Every one is very kind and right away that puts you at ease. They also are very efficient and if you want to save yourself even more time...Pre-register at home before you go over there.I hope I never get sick again, but its good to know that theres a very reliable medical clinic in my neighborhood.
Everyone I dealt with had great service, & great bedside manner from the nurse & Dr. & quickest wait time I have ever witnessed in a Dr.s office, let alone Urgent Care. Last time I had to wait 4 hours. Ill definitely be coming back when I need to see a Dr. again. Thank you!
Was a very pleasant experience at North well health urgent care in NeuroShell New York friendly staff knowledgeable staff and treated me within minutes of me being there I was there no longer than 12 to 15 minutes from the new patient signing in first time visit to walking back out the door quick experience there But I highly recommend them if you’re in need of a local urgent care. Recommend to my friends and family!!!!
Horrible staff & service. I waited at the door at 8am, they claim they open then. I didn’t get let in until after 8AM when 3 staff members passed me and no one said good morning or hello or even held the door open for me. They swiped whatever it was they had to swipe and ignored me. I wasn’t seen until 8:30. I was the first person there and it was empty. Staff members rushed to their computers and continue to ignore me. When I was seen the nurse who took my blood didn’t say hello or even check my name or DOB. Aren’t they all supposed to do this!? She had no idea why I was in. She couldn’t tell me when my doctor would get my results “I don’t have anything to do with that. I just draw the blood”. Shouldn’t she have pretended to have an answer or say, “I’ll ask for you” or “I’m not sure I can double check”. Nothing. Then the doctor who came I said, “do I have to do anything?” No introduction, nice to meet you, nothing. I had to tell the doctor why I was there because she clearly didn’t read any information on my behalf. She said a few things that I was upset about. I left. Horrified. And in the end they told me it might be 24 hours to get the results of my test. Which is also unreal. Never going there again.
The staff was very helpful and nice to me. What I really enjoyed about this specific location, is that every employee that was there carried themselves very professional and made me feel important. There performance is excellent and I would recommend friends, family members and even strangers, they were that good!
The staff at your New Rochelle Northwell Facility are so condescending and rude that they should really reconsider their career in the medical field. As a healthcare professional myself, a operating room nurse and now in medical sales I have never in my 15 years of healthcare encountered such horrible patient care. I had made a appt. for a rapid test at 7:45pm to be told once I got there at 7:35 that it was too late to do a rapid test and wait for the results.. I specifically indicated when I called the day prior I needed a rapid test and whomever I spoke with told me 7:45 worked for a rapid. I proceeded to tell the woman there whom wouldnt even look away from the computer and acknowledge my existence that I needed the test in order to be in the operating room the next day, to which she said why would you need a covid test for surgery.1. If she had any knowledge of preop requirements she would know that a negative covid test is required for all surgical procedures and 2. Who gave her the clinical judgement of whether or not I was worthy of a test? I proceeded to tell her I was a medical device rep. And needed the test to be the the OR the next morning to which she rolled her eyes and told me to go sit in my room. Never again will I visit any of your locations and I will be sure to share my experience with others in the healthcare field that I work with, which includes a number of surgeons who send their patients to locations such as the one in New Rochelle for covid tests for preop. The best part is, I was having the test done after being told to do so from northern Westchester hospital where I am a vendor and cover cases in their operating room. I was paying your facility out of pocket as my insurance does not cover covid testing but after that experience you will NEVER see a penny from me. The knowledge and lack of patient care in your facility is atrocious and you should be ashamed to have the Northwell name associated with the New Rochelle location.
Everything ran very smoothly. My prescription was waiting for me at CVS. The PA, Able, told me to follow with him if the problem persisted. He had a wonderful bedside manor. I wouldnt hesitate to use this service again.
Tried to have my daughter seen this morning - 9:10am no patients were in the location. However they refused to see her, but offered an appointment at 2pm appointment. Very disappointed in this experience- wont try here again. ITS NOT WALK IN AS ADVERTISED!!!!
I took a 13 yo there with severe ear pain. The sign-in process took almost an hour. No medical treatment was allowed before the full sign-in! They wanted an email. I showed them the email before it was sent. After they got the email, they said it was not acceptable and I had to do it again. The sign-in form is on a website and they want you to complete it on your cell phone. Lots of typing on a small screen. They should provide a full size monitor and keyboard. The receptionist (Twyla) was not at all sympathetic and could have been more helpful, to speed along the sign-in process. The medical staff is a nurse-practitioner, not an MD, but the N-P was fine. Twice they tried to send two prescriptions to a CVS. Only one Rx got to the CVS. Also, the child had been seen at another GoHealth location, but their computer system did not bring up the medical history. Their computer systems are sub-par.
Outstanding staff, Dr, Kamyar Nabegh was understanding of my visit and passionate about what I needed, more specifically for my line of work, and the staff was awesome as ever. If my family was sick, Id recommend them to accommodate and put them in the position to care for my loved ones !
Very good experience at this facility. Wait time very short. Staff and doctors and tech staff were all excellent. Waiting area, exam rooms and restrooms were spotless. And believe me l notice such things. Would recommend this office.
Always get through so fast here. Staff is very professional and friendly. Love being treated by other women of colour.
Dr. Abel Bencosmes bedside manner was terrific. He really put me at ease while getting my stitches.
Dr Kramer and her staff were there during the snowstorm on Sunday morning while everywhere else was closed. They were so efficient, friendly, and helpful. I can’t thank them enough for kindly taking us in and helping us out!
1) cleanest doctors office Ive ever been in2) kindest front desk Ive ever had (and Ive spent 12 years at different doctors)3) most knowledgeable staff (Ram and Dr. Asante)4) most efficient (total visit took only a small amount of time but needed 3 cultures)5) the most convenient opening time --only doctor open before 9 daily!! And everything was virtual (welcome to 2017)6) they dont know me and already cared about following up!
They were very nice to me.
I found making an appointment easy. The office was clean. The employees pleasant and best of all diagnosed correctly , Prescribed meds that worked and was feeling better in a couple of days.
They deserve no star!! I went there because I knew my hand was infected the person I saw told me it wasnt..even though it was oozing and swollen..And I knew it was infected. I called my regular doctor she had 1 look at it .She prescribed antibiotics and told me that if it wasnt better in 2 days that I had to go back and if it got any worse to go immediately to the hospital to be admitted. They definitely should not be in business.. if I listened to them I would be dead. Horrible urgent care..STAY FAR FAR AWAY
Told me they were very busy and if I wanted to make an appointment for the next day this defeats the purpose of urgent care I walked out and the worker was not friendly Went to City MD they are the best...
The Medical Staff, Doctors, Nurses & PAs are always exceptional. The wait time is always short and they always do a great job at diagnosing. Always an incredible experience. Thank you!
The most unorganized incompetent group of people. They dont care about their patients and have horrible service i hate them!
I would like to say that the place is very clean and the staff is very polite and nice. I have had 2 visits at this urgent care. The 1st time i saw a male M.D who was very professional and knew what her was doing. The 2nd time i was not so happy, i saw the P.A which i did not know was a P.A until i was in the exam room waiting for her to come in and her her make 4 calls to the same patient changing the dose of a med the patient was supposed to get. Needless to say she claimedbshe cld not give me a whole refill on my med i needed, which by the way is not a controlled substance in anyway... but she claimed she would give me enough to get me through my week so i can get to a primary physician. Now it was thursday night, the med i needed has to be changed every 3 days or it doesnt work. When i got to cvs and opened the bag... there was 1 patch in there. She gave me 1 patch. So basically if i put it on thurs night... fri is 1 day, saturday is 2, sunday is 3, she in no way gave me enough to get me through a few days to get to a physician. And she was aware that i am a nurse and had work as well. I was able to tell that she is very new and really doesnt think as a professional M.D... well...which she isnt...but i guess an experienced P.A. i would recommend this place if the male dr is there.... but if this female P.A is there... I would be very careful... for which reason you are seeking medical attention. She is super knew....and shows it. Even a person not in the medical field can and would be able to do the math and know that 1 patch of the medication would not be enough time to get to a primary doctor. She could have given 2 doses which would have been 6 days. Thats all. Good luck to all.
The facility and the people were very friendly, nice and great, God bless them with all their help🙏🙏🙏
The Best. Very professional and empathetic to my needs
The complete opposite of “urgent care” after going to the pharmacy to pick up my perscription of anti depressants I was informed I was out of refills. The pharmacist tells me to go to an urgent care center because I didn’t have a pcp. (Just moved back to New York) if I miss a dose of my non narcotic medicine I will fall very ill possibly even have seizures which I have before. I would say that’s pretty urgent. I tried making appointments with doctors but no luck getting an appointment untill the following week. So they tell me to go to the ER. Yea let’s spend thousands of dollars and hours at the ER for a weeks worth of non narcotic non abusive medication. I think maybe they should change their name to urgent care sometimes
Called several times to ask questions and they don’t answer👎🏾
Urgent care on Quaker Ridge Rd. in New Rochelle was very efficient. The waiting time was minimal and the examination very thorough. It was a very pleasant experience and in addition there was a follow up call checking on my condition.
The staff was professional. I received the care I needed, relatively quickly. The doctor was very good and offered me good options.
The doctor? or NP? was very helpful and thorough.
My complaint was pain in my small toe. MD touched it and said it is gout. I told her I recalled hitting my foot earlier in the day. She instead offered me medication which I refused. I was upset she did not offer to do a X-ray. 4 days later I saw a podiatrist and found out its a fracture. Treatment 4 days delayed due to wrong diagnosis
Awesome experience! Fast, polite, clean! Dr. Was great , treated me professionally. Explained everything and followed up to see how i was. Excellent place to go when your dr. Is not available.
The staff members were friendly, pleasant, and thorough. The facilities were clean and there was a decently short wait time. Overall a pleasant experience for an urgent care!
I had gone to Northwell Health Urgent Care for a COVID test. Based on the expeditious and courteous service that I received I intend to make Northwell my goto urgent care service.
Karen was amazing she listened and really understood me. She was so professional and kind. The rest of the staff was great as well. That office is fantastic. Thank you
No Hi, no smile for the little kids.. front desk not so friendly. But it’s clean and fancy. Went to pick up the prescribed medicine and the pharmacy said they didn’t receive it. I have to call the clinic next morning (because they already closed) to remind them to send it... not so recommend.
All staff members were courteous, professional and responsive to my needs. Kudos to the receptionist who had her hands full and found a way to accomodate my specific request that day. Thank you!
The staff is so sweet, very helpful and understanding. The office is very clean and I felt very happy with my decision to visit them first before going anywhere else. Strongly recommend going to them.
Loved the staff here. Their easy going, but very professional attitudes helped to relax my friend and made our visit, including x-rays a breeze!
Great Facility. Clean and efficient. Dr is pleasant and knowledgeable. I was seen almost immediately. The health review was comprehensive and a diagnosis found. Can’t ask for better

Minimal wait time. young, professional staff. maybe a bit too equipment data driven focused with minimizing why some results were offthat said i highly recommend
Specifically chose this office because it says right the website x-rays available on sight, tried calling but no one picks up, just a full voice mail Decide to try and go there anyway big mistake oh we don’t have any extra people here all week you have to go 10 miles north if you want an x-ray
Staff from Northwell is worth waiting for; clean, respectful & friendly conversation. Ill recommend to anyone who in need of professional service.
Excellent. Was seen on a Sunday almost immediately. Taken care of right away with great care. Given good and cogent advice on taking care of wound.

Worst place to go to!!!! Had to go for work for a covid test they tried telling me what my employer required I had to demand the tests I needed in order to get back into work and still they gave me a problem literally the worst experience I have ever had in my life!!!!
This location DOES NOT accept walk-in COVID19 testing appts. as of 12/4/2020 nor do they answer the phone. Can’t verify with the facility if the automated answering line does not connect you the reception desk at the site.
I love my provider Julie and the whole new Rochelle team EMMANUEL, ANABELL & RAMSHA
The doctor and all staff were excellent, extremely friendly and very detailed and facility clean.
I’m watching them eat lunch while I’m shivering with a fever. So unprofessional. They are the worst. Have not made eye contact with me for 30 min now. Crazy.
