Veneers
are custom made porcelain or composite wavers that is being placed over
the fronts of the teeth to enhance their appearance and also to repair
damage.
Veneers are divided into two sub-types:
Direct
veneers –
these are composite restorations bonded directly onto the teeth
Indirect veneers –
made in the laboratory of porcelain/ceramic materials and then bonded
onto the teeth

Improve color of teeth ( they can whiten stained or discolored teeth
)
2. Close spaces between teeth
3. Replace bonding ( increased longevity )
4. Change shape of teeth ( correct a “crooked” smile without
the need for braces )
5. Maintain tooth structure
